Social Media Roundtable Discussion

I’m looking forward to being on a panel about social media with Ray Hiltz, Lisa Ursano, Frédéric Harper, and Luis London. Here’s what’s on plate.

6:00 pm – 7:00: Brief intro to explain the purpose of the roundtable as a meeting to discuss the relatively new and rapidly evolving world of social media. Each participant will describe their expertise and activities in the field of social media.

7:00 – 8:00: Question period such as what role do social media play in marketing and public relations strategy? What impact do social media have on content authoring? What skills do writers need to enter this important market and benefit from these critical communication and collaboration platforms? To blog or not to blog? Other questions, issues and discussions will arise organically.
