Ms. Lube is a mechanic down the street. Jessica Gilbank, pictured above, runs the first and only all-female automotive service centre in North America.     She was on the CBC show “Dragons Den” last night looking for investment money to open a second shop. Unfortunately for her one of the “Dragons” owns the Mr. Lube chain and didn't appreciate the similarities in names. His lawyers have undoubtedly been in touch. Expect to see her change her branding very soon. Great business idea, though!

    Dragons Shmagons! If Ms Lube has to change her name, then so does, Jiffy Lube, Quick Lube, Quickie Lube, Master Lube, Mister Lube and yes even Mrs. Lube. Jim Trevling may own Mr. Lube but he doesn’t own Mr. or Lube. My advice to Jim …Cool off…you’re not the only player in town and there are enough toys to go around. Hope Ms Lube by Mechanchik knows her rights before being bullied.
